The District Department of Transportation (DDOT), in partnership with ANC 8C, invites you to a community meeting, where we will provide an overview of the Neighborhood Safety and Mobility Study. Join to hear about DDOT’s approach to providing safe infrastructure for roadway users with a focus on the ANC 8C area. This project is the first in the Neighborhood Safety and Mobility Studies program and will evaluate neighborhood-scale transportation needs and identify quickly implementable recommendations to rapidly improve transportation safety, connectivity, and accessibility.

DDOT Showcases New Adams Morgan Streateries Ahead of PARK(ing) Day

Today, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announced PARK(ing) Day 2024 will be held on Friday, September 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The popular event temporarily converts on-street parking spaces into pop-up parks allowing people to visualize and explore alternative uses for curb space.
