The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will hold a virtual public meeting to discuss the upcoming roadway project on Southern Avenue, SE from Barnaby Road to the United Medical Center (UMC). The project design is scheduled to serve existing safety concerns along the corridor and will install traffic calming features and other safety configurations.

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will host a virtual public meeting to present options to improve transit and safety along the Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE corridor from Good Hope Road SE to St. Elizabeths East Campus. To learn more about the Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE Car Free Lane project, visit the website at: ddot.dc.gov/mlkbuspriority.

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will host a public meeting to discuss the Van Ness Commercial Corridor Project. This project will propose improvements for the Van Ness commercial district, which is Connecticut Avenue NW between Van Ness Street and Albemarle Street, and Windom Place NW on both sides of Connecticut Avenue. The project will also propose multimodal transportation improvements for Van Ness Street NW between Connecticut Avenue and Reno Road. The purpose of the meeting is to kick off the project with the community.

DDOT will host a meeting of the NNWIII Safety and Mobility Study CAC to gather feedback and discuss the project.
