Brant Miller

Position/Title: 
Policy and Legislative Affairs Manager 

Brant Miller is an experienced public sector manager and analyst who has volunteered, worked and advocated in Washington, DC for more than a decade. At DDOT, Brant’s work has focused on policy solutions to repurposing public space, expanding mobility options and piloting emerging technology.

Before coming to DDOT, Brant worked at the local LGBT community center, where he partnered with District government agencies to implement social policy on the ground. He enrolled residents in health insurance subsidy programs and Medicaid; connected clients to temporary and affordable housing; and organized health and employment-focused Spanish-language community events. Brant has volunteered with Rainbow Response Coalition, and served on the leadership committee of DC’s Office of Victim Services’ Victim Assistance Network.

In 2017, Brant received his Master of Public Policy from the George Washington University’s Trachtenberg School, concentrating on social issues as well as urban/local policy analysis. His studies covered topics such as affordable housing, transportation, poverty and community development.
