Autonomous Vehicles Program Manager

Stephanie Dock manages DDOT’s Autonomous Vehicles Program and leads the team responsible for overseeing autonomous vehicle testing and sidewalk delivery robots, deploying drones (unmanned aerial systems) for agency purposes, and helping to guide the agency’s investments and strategy around emerging technology pilots. Stephanie joined DDOT in 2012 as part of the Research Program and went on to lead that program before moving to her current role in 2022.

Stephanie is a certified urban planner (AICP). She chairs the Transportation Research Board (TRB) City Transportation Issues Coordinating Council, serves on multiple National Cooperative Highway Research Program, and serves on the OMF Privacy, Security, and Transparency Committee. She received her Masters of City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Chicago.
