East Capitol Street Safety and Mobility Project Virtual Public Meeting



The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will host a virtual public meeting to present the East Capitol Street Safety and Mobility Project, which will provide upgrades to intersections and streets to improve safety and access for all users of East Capitol Street, including the Benning Road intersection, the Benning Stoddert Recreation Center, the Central Avenue intersection, and the Maryland border at Southern Avenue. The total length of this segment of East Capitol Street from Burns Street at its west terminus to Southern Avenue at its east terminus is about 2.1 miles.

15th Street Protected Bike Lane Public Meeting #2



he District Department of Transportation (DDOT) and the National Park Service (NPS) will host a virtual public meeting on May 12, 2021 to provide updates on the extension of the 15th Street NW Cycletrack, a two-way protected bike lane between Pennsylvania Avenue NW and East Basin Drive SW. DDOT and NPS will design bicycle improvements along the 15th Street NW corridor to close the gap between Pennsylvania Avenue NW and the 14th Street Bridge.

Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE Phase II 65% Design Project Update Virtual Public Meeting



The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is hosting a public meeting on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 to present the 65% design update on the Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE Phase II project (South Capitol Street SE to 4th Street SE). DDOT will present design elements and gather comments from the community at this meeting.  

Public Meeting: Rehabilitation of Rock Creek Park Multi-Use Trail and Pedestrian Bridge Virtual Public Meeting



DDOT will rehabilitate and construct more than 3.7 miles of the paved, multi-use trail spanning Wards 1 through 4 from M Street in Georgetown to Broad Branch Road NW. This public meeting will give residents and stakeholders an opportunity to learn more about the project, the construction schedule, and what to expect during construction.
