U Street NW Bus Priority Project Kickoff Virtual Public Meeting
The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will host a public meeting to introduce the U Street NW Bus Priority Project. This meeting is being held to introduce the project to the community and “kickoff” the outreach process. This includes bringing in Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (ANC), resident, and other stakeholder input from the combined ANCs of 1B, 2B, and 2F to solicit more cohesive feedback along the entire project corridor.
Shannon Jones
Supervisory Program Analyst/Business Services Manager for the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). Shannon manages the agency’s headquarters' day-to-day operation and oversees the maintenance and contractual services of nine other DDOT facilities. As the Business Service Supervisor, Shannon procures, manages, and coordinate the distribution of the agency office supplies, employee credential, and facilities access.
Brant Miller
Brant Miller is an experienced public sector manager and analyst who has volunteered, worked and advocated in Washington, DC for more than a decade. At DDOT, Brant’s work has focused on policy solutions to repurposing public space, expanding mobility options and piloting emerging technology.
Neelima Ghanta
Neelima Ghanta is currently the Deputy Director at DDOT. She oversees the Vision Zero, The Office of Highway Safety, Traffic Safety Administration, Automated Traffic Enforcement, Multimodal Porject delviery, Roadway Operations and Safety, and Traffic Signals and Engineering Divsion. She is a transportation thought leader with 18 years of international experience in technical and leadership roles.
Carla Longshore
Carla Longshore is the Associate Director of Transit Delivery at the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). She has worked in the transportation industry in Washington, DC, for more than 30 years.
Stephanie Dock
Stephanie Dock manages DDOT’s Autonomous Vehicles Program and leads the team responsible for overseeing autonomous vehicle testing and sidewalk delivery robots, deploying drones (unmanned aerial systems) for agency purposes, and helping to guide the agency’s investments and strategy around emerging technology pilots. Stephanie joined DDOT in 2012 as part of the Research Program and went on to lead that program before moving to her current role in 2022.
Richard Kenney
Mr. Kenney was appointed Deputy Chief Engineer in March 2017. He previously served as the Program Manager for the Infrastructure Project Management Administration’s Team 1 for 5 years leading capital projects in Wards 1 and 2.
Ravindra Ganvir
Mr. Ravindra Ganvir, P.E., is the Deputy Chief Engineer for Washington D.C.’s District Department of Transportation (DDOT).
