Mayor Bowser to Lead Dialogue on Vision Zero Commitment and Regional Transportation Safety

Washington, DC – On Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 12:45 pm, Mayor Bowser will participant in a fireside chat at the 2019 Washington Region Vision Zero Summit to build awareness and support to end all traffic fatalities and serious injuries in the Washington Region.

The 2019 Washington Region Vision Zero Summit is a platform for regional commitments and best practices to be discussed, made, and shared. In the past, Mayor Bowser has brought together thought leaders, elected officials, decision-makers, and the private sector to discuss best practices and regional commitments towards zero traffic fatalities. This year, she will continue the discussion with renewed vigor and greater opportunities to present best practices to protect vulnerable users.
