The District of Department of Transportation (DDOT) coordinated site visits to five “high crash” intersections in 2017 as part of Vision Zero. The site visits were attended by representatives from the local Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (ANCs), the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), the District Department of Public Works (DPW), the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), Department of Housing and Community Development (DCHD), and other advocacy organizations.
