DDOT's Ward 8 Community Engagement Specialist will join the Historic Anacostia Block Association (HABA) meeting to provide responses/updates from their October meeting.
DDOT's Community Engagement Manager and Traffic Safety Administration Engineers will join ANC 8E's monthly meeting to discuss the post-fatal crash Notice of Intent proposed for the 2500 block of Southern Avenue SE.
DDOT's Ward 7 Community Engagement Specialist will join ANC 7C at their executive committee meeting ahead to discuss the East Capitol Street Safety and Mobility Study and community concerns.
DDOT will host the Taylor Street Protected Bikeway Open House, initially set for January 11, 2025, on February 1, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Woodridge Neighborhood Library.
DDOT's Annual DBE Training Summit and Networking Symposium connects businesses with government decision-makers, prime contractors, and information essential to successfully conducting business with the District of Columbia government.

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) invites the public to participate in a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. This meeting will provide an overview of the Anacostia River Trail: Arboretum Bridge to Maryland Avenue Connector Feasibility Study. DDOT will present the project's scope, review existing conditions, and seek valuable feedback from the community to help shape the study’s recommendations. Your input is essential to ensuring the success of this important project.

Save the date for Open Streets DC on October 5, 2024! Join Mayor Bowser and the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) for a special event on 7th Street NW. One mile of the street will be closed to vehicles, allowing people to walk, run, bike, and enjoy various activities safely.
Open Streets DC will feature hourly classes and demonstrations, such as yoga, dancing, and more! The event is free and suitable for all ages and abilities and will take place rain or shine.
Road Closure: 7th Street NW will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
