The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be hosting an outdoor public meeting to present the preferred Concept for the Van Ness Commercial Corridor Project and receive input on the proposed improvements for the corridor. This will be the third and final meeting for this project.

German Vigil is the Public Information Officer for DDOT where he manages the Public Information/Communication Division.
Prior to joining DDOT, German most recently served as the Director of Communications for the Baltimore City Department of Transportation, where he led strategic initiatives and community engagement efforts to address safety concerns across the city. Additionally, he helped lead communication strategies to address concerns during the beginning stages of the COVID-19 pandemic for both residents and city employees.
Olivia Walton (Dedner) is the Chief of External Affairs at DDOT where manages the Community Engagement, Policy and Legislative Affairs, and Communications Divisions.
Her entrance into DC government, however, was as Communications Director in the Office of the City Administrator where she also led communications for the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice and the Assistant City Administrator for Internal Services. In this capacity she was responsible for the strategic communications of 18 agencies and three cabinet-level appointees.
