Shirley Kwan-Hui is the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). The CAO serves as an advisor to the agency director and the executive team and is responsible for a variety of administrative functions such as, information technology management, human resources, budget and financial management with strategic resource allocation, safety and security, facilities and support services, procurement and contract management, and other administrative services to ensure effective departmental performance within DDOT.

National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program Partnership Facilitation Webinar



The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) invites you to a virtual public meeting on Thursday, March 28, 2024, about the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program Deployment. DDOT received federal NEVI funding to invest in Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and to build Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) stations throughout the District.

DDOT Launches Program to Give Eligible DC Residents up to $2,000 for E-Bike Purchase

Today, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announces the launch of the highly anticipated District E-Bike Incentive Program that will help District residents—particularly of low income—purchase an e-bike using a voucher worth as much as $2,000. The $500,000 program also helps support bicycle businesses within the District.

DDOT Deploying Automated Traffic Enforcement Cameras to New Locations

Today, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announced the planned deployment of automated traffic enforcement cameras to new locations including locations on the High Injury Network (HIN) locations throughout the District. The HIN locations are traffic sites where data analysis has identified Speeding and Speed running as safety issues.
