The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will host the final community workshop for the Georgetown Transportation Access and Circulation Study, a multimodal transportation study for the Georgetown neighborhood. The purpose of the workshop is to present final recommendations and for community members to share their feedback. Community members have the option to attend separate in-person and virtual meetings.

Public Meeting: South Dakota Avenue NE [In-Person]

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT), in partnership with Ward 5 Councilmember Zachary Parker, invites you to attend public meetings for the South Dakota Avenue Corridor Safety Project from Riggs Road NE to Bladensburg Road NE. DDOT will be hosting two meetings: a virtual meeting on Thursday, May 30, 2024, and an in-person meeting on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

MOCRS Ward 3 Core Team Walk

The Ward 3 Community Engagement Specialist from DDOT will be joining the Mayor's Office of Community Relations (MOCRS), the Department of Buildings (DOB), the Department of Public Works (DPW), and neighbors on a CORE team walk to observe issues in the Ward 3 Community.

Virtual Meeting to discuss Bangor Street SE Alley Repairs

The Ward 8 Community Engagement Specialist will participate in a virtual meeting with residents and the ANC to address community concerns regarding the alley on Bangor Street SE.

ANC 2D Monthly Meeting

DDOT's Ward 2 Community Engagement Specialist will attend the ANC 2D monthly public meeting and present updates on missing call boxes, outstanding Traffic Safety Inputs, and other DDOT service-related issues. To participate, visit https://www.anc2d.org/.

DC Bicycle Advisory Council

Stronghold Civic Association Meeting

DDOT's Ward 5 Community Engagement Specialist, Dalando Baker, will attend the Stronghold Civic Association's monthly meeting to discuss a traffic safety request from residents for a traffic signal at Farragut Street NE and Nother Capitol Street NE and community concerns for the intersection of Girard Street and North Capitol Street SE. Meeting to discuss the 17th Street NE Safety Project

DDOT's Community Engagement Manager and Transportation Engineer will meet with the community to discuss the 17th Street NE Safety Project and share the 65% design plans to collect feedback.
