Amanda Harvey-Ware is the Project Innovation Manager for DDOT’s Information Technology Division where she leads the agency’s IT infrastructure and security initiatives and DDOT’s SharePoint, ProTrack+ and District Transportation Access Portal (DTAP) teams.
Amanda has worked at DDOT for several years supporting the development and implementation of TIES (Transportation Integration Enterprise Solution), 311/Call Center applications, Cityworks and several transit-related applications.
Before she arrived at DDOT, Amanda worked at the Department of Homeland Security, the Executive Office of Former Mayor Anthony Williams and for a few political campaigns.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, following the political cycles, supporting her sorority – Delta Sigma Theta’s community outreach efforts and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Amanda holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland, a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, University College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from South Carolina State University.
