The District of Columbia Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (DC STIP) is a federally required multi-year listing of all upcoming projects that will be funded with federal dollars. The most recent DC STIP was approved in October 2020 for fiscal years 2021 – 2024. The STIP is continuously revised to reflect the District’s evolving needs.
The DC STIP is the key tool to implement moveDC, the District's long-range transportation plan. The DC STIP includes federally-funded and regionally-significant transportation investments.
DDOT prepares the DC STIP, in cooperation with other local and regional agencies, and with a wide range of stakeholder and public input.
