The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) invites you to a virtual public meeting on Thursday, January 25, 2024, about its National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Deployment Plan. DDOT will provide a presentation on its upcoming Request for Applications (RFA) to distribute federal NEVI Formula Program grant funds. Under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program, DDOT received funding to invest in Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and to build Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) stations throughout the District of Columbia in accordance with the program’s guidance, specifications, and requirements. DDOT requests proposals from potential grantees to design, build, operate, and maintain DCFC charging stations along federally designated Alternative Fuel Corridors (AFCs). Private EVSE companies and other eligible entities are encouraged to apply for the NEVI Formula Program Grant.
