Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations For the Week of June 24

(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:

  • Westbound ramp from K Street, NW, to Whitehurst Freeway right lane closure on Monday, June 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., weather permitting.
  • Eastbound ramp from Whitehurst Freeway to K Street, NW, left lane closure on Monday, June 24, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
  • Whitehurst Freeway under the Key Bridge right lane closure of westbound Whitehurst Freeway followed by a right lane closure of eastbound Whitehurst Freeway on Wednesday, June 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
  • 14th Street, southbound I-395, over Potomac River and Ohio Drive right lane closure on Thursday, June 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
