Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations, June 12 thru 14
(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:
Westbound Q Street,, N.W. over Rock Creek and Rock Creek Parkway lane closure with traffic shifted to Eastbound left lane on Tuesday, June 12, from 10 am to 3 pm, weather permitting
- Firth Sterling Avenue S.E. under Anacostia Freeway right lane closure of Westbound Firth Sterling Avenue, S.E. followed by right lane closure of Eastbound Firth Sterling Avenue, S.E on Thursday, June 14, from 10 am to 3 pm, weather permitting
- 7th Street, S.W. under Railroad Bridge alternating right and left lane closures ofNorthbound 7th Street, S.W. followed by alternating right and left lane closures ofSouthbound 7th Street, S.W. on Thursday, June 14, from 10 am to 3 pm, weather permitting
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
