Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations, January 8-10

(Washington, DC)--The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for guardrail repairs on the following days, weather permitting:

Monday, January 8, 9:30 am to 3 pm
There will be a left-lane closure on northbound I-295 at Malcolm X Avenue SE.

DDOT will close the left-lane ramp on eastbound Southwest Freeway at the exit ramp to the US Capitol SW.

There will be a right-lane closure on northbound Kenilworth Avenue at Benning Road, NE.

Tuesday, January 9, from 9:30 am to 3 pm
DDOT will close the right lane on westbound New York Avenue westbound at 9th Street Overpass, NE.

There will be flagging activity at 1300 S Street NE.

Wednesday, January 10, from 9:30 am to 3 pm

DDOT will engage in flagging activity at MacArthur Boulevard at the DC Line in Northwest.

Right-lane closure will occur on northbound Dalecarlia Parkway at Rockwood Parkway NW.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching these areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the DDOT personnel.
