Temporary Lane Closures in Multiple Locations, February 5-9

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for routine bridge and tunnel inspections between Monday, February 5 and Friday, February 9, from 10 am to 3 pm, weather permitting.

Monday, February 5
Right-shoulder closure on westbound Chain Bridge over Potomac River and C&O Canal

Tuesday, February 6

Right-shoulder closure on westbound Chain Bridge over Potomac River and C&O Canal

Wednesday, February 7

Eastbound right-shoulder closure on the Chain Bridge over Potomac River and C&O Canal, followed by westbound right-shoulder closure

Thursday, February 8
Alternating right- and left-lane closures on eastbound I-395 Ramp under the Southeast-Southwest Freeway

Right-lane closure on westbound T. Roosevelt Bridge over the Potomac River and Potomac Parkway

Friday, February 9

Right-lane closure on eastbound T. Roosevelt Bridge over the Potomac River and Potomac Parkway

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching these areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures and are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations.Also, please be mindful of the inspection personnel.
