FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Washington, DC)--The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for repair and construction from 9:30 am to 3 pm, Monday, December 4 through Saturday, December 9, weather permitting:
Monday, December 4
DDOT will close the right shoulder lane on I-395 northbound at the exit ramp to GW Parkway (Exit 10C).
DDOT will close the left lane on I-395 northbound at the exit to 14th street southbound SW.
Tuesday, December 5
DDOT will close the left shoulder lane on Anacostia Freeway southbound at the exit ramp to Pennsylvania Avenue eastbound.
Friday, December 8
DDOT will close the right lane on Anacostia Freeway southbound at the DC Line (Weigh Station).
Saturday, December 9
DDOT will close the right lane on Anacostia Freeway southbound at DC Line (Weigh Station).
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
