Single Lane Closures on M Street NW Begin June 25 

(Washington, DC) -- The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will begin the final phase of the roadway improvement project along M Street NW between New Hampshire Avenue NW and 23rd Street NW starting on Monday, June 25, weather permitting.

All activities will be conducted between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am. Monday through Friday. DDOT expects the final phase to be complete in the next three weeks, weather permitting. 

Access to the adjacent businesses will be maintained during the lane closures.  Curbside parking along M Street NW will be restricted during construction hours. 

DDOT encourages all motorists traveling through this work zone to stay alert. Variable message boards and detour signs will be in place to guide all motorists safely through the work zone. Throughout the construction zone, at least one lane of traffic will be maintained.
