(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) has issued permits for rolling road closures to accommodate the final relocation of the historic Adas Israel Synagogue to 3rd and F Streets, NW on Wednesday, January 9 starting at 9:30 a.m. All roads are expected to reopen no later than 8:00 p.m.

During the closure, vehicles wishing to access 3rd Street southbound, east or westbound of H Street and westbound Massachusetts Avenue, will be directed to travel southbound on 4th Street and onto 3rd Street via E Street.

Motorists and pedestrians should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays and are advised to stay alert while traveling through these areas
