Overnight Lane Closures on South Capitol Street June 7 - 10
(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close South Capitol Street SE/SW between Malcolm X Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7 through 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 10, weather permitting.
These temporary lane closures are necessary to complete work related to the Rehabilitation of Anacostia Freeway Bridges over South Capitol Street Project.
During these closures, DDOT will provide signage and the following detours to guide traffic around the work zone and maintain public safety.
