Month-Long Closure of L Street SE between 10th Street and 11th Street Starts July 29, 2014

Washington, DC - As part of the 11th Street Bridge Project, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close L Street, SE, between 10th Street and 11th Street, for approximately one month starting on Tuesday, July 29, 2014.

The closure is needed for crews to complete sidewalk and drainage reconstruction work. L Street, SE is scheduled to reopen along this corridor by Monday, August 25, 2014

Signed detours will be posted during the closure:

• Motorists traveling eastbound on L Street, SE will be detoured to 10th Street, then to M Street to access 11th Street.
• Motorists traveling on 11th Street, SE will be routed to M Street, then onto 10th Street to access L Street.                                                                                                                                                                                                      

In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, this work will be rescheduled and an updated advisory will be distributed.
