Lane Shifts on Minnesota Avenue NE Begin March 28

(Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will shift the traffic pattern on the east side (northbound) of Minnesota Ave, NE between the DOES/WMATA parking access driveway and Gault Place, NE from Thursday, March 28, 2019 through Sunday, April 21, 2019 weather permitting.

During this time, both the southbound and northbound traffic lanes will be shifted to the west side of the roadway to allow for the safe installation of the new roadway. This work is a part of the ongoing Minnesota Avenue Phase II Rehabilitation Project.

Pedestrians and motorists are urged to use caution as they travel in these areas, to anticipate moderate delays, and to be mindful construction personnel.

The mission of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is to enhance the quality of life for District residents and visitors by ensuring that people, goods, and information move efficiently and safely with minimal adverse impact on residents and the environment.
