Lane Closure for Emergency Guardrail Repair on I-295 South April 5, 2017

Repairs will occur from the overpass at Howard Road SE to just south of the overpass on Firth Sterling Avenue

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close a single left lane during emergency repair work on the I-295 corridor from the overpass at Howard Road, SE, to just south of Firth Sterling Wednesday, April 5, 2017, from 10 am to 2 pm, weather permitting.

Variable message boards will be used to alert the public of the lane closure.

DDOT encourages all motorists traveling through the work zone to stay alerted.
