DDOT Traffic Advisory: Temporary Lane Closures on I-395 and Anacostia Freeway, March 12

(Washington, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for guide rail repair from 9:30 am to 3 pm, Monday, March 12, weather permitting.

  • Right-lane closure at southbound I-395 at the exit ramp to westbound Southeast-Southwest Freeway
  • Right-shoulder closure on northbound Anacostia Freeway, north of Pennsylvania Avenue SE

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the construction personnel.
