(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announces that the I-395/Massachusetts Avenue on-ramp portal and the intersection at Massachusetts Avenue and 4th Street NW will close temporarily Saturday, April 14, from 8 am to 1 pm, weather permitting.
The closure will allow DC Water to finalize connections related to the Third Street Tunnel and Capitol Crossing Projects.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the on-ramp and traffic will be detoured to the southbound 3rd and D Street NW portal.
Motorists and pedestrians should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays and are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations.
