DDOT Reopens Canal Road NW
(Washington, DC) -- The District Department of Transportation announced that emergency repairs on Canal Road NW are complete and the roadway reopened to traffic July 15 at approximately 11:30 a.m.
The closure, which began on July 10, was necessary for DDOT to complete emergency repairs caused by heavy rains and flash flooding on July 8.
DDOT will continue to monitor the safety of the roadway for the traveling public.
