DDOT Guiderail Repair Schedule for the Week of April 8
(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on roadways in the District to construct concrete pads for guiderails and impact attenuators.
DDOT will temporarily close the following roadways, weather permitting:
- Southbound I-395 at Exit 8 ramp to 2nd Street, SW ---- ramp narrow closure on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Southbound I-395 at Exit 8 ramp to 2nd Street, SW ---- ramp narrow closure on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Westbound New York Avenue in the North Service Rd at 3350 New York Avenue, NE ---- right lane closure on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures. Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
