DDOT to Begin Arizona Avenue Roadwork
(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to begin paving Arizona Avenue from Canal Road NW to Hawthorne Place NW on Monday, July 31, between 9 am and 3:30 pm, weather permitting.
The work is expected to take about 30 business days to complete.
Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in each direction. On-street parking will also be restricted as necessary in the work zone. The intersection of Canal Road and Arizona Avenue will remain open.
Traffic controls and signage will be in place to guide drivers through the work area and lane closures. Motorist should anticipate moderate delays.
DDOT encourages all motorist to stay alert as they travel through the work zone.
