DC Circulator Introduces Improved Bus Stop Flags Systemwide to Enhance Customer Experience

(Washington, DC) The DC Circulator's bus stop flags are getting a makeover. The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is installing more than 130 redesigned bus stop signs throughout the six-route system.

“DC Circulator’s new stop flags are designed to improve customer service through enhanced readability and the inclusion of helpful information like the stop number and contact information," said DDOT Director Leif Dormsjo.

DC circulator flagsThe installation process will last five-to-six weeks. Each new flag will now be equipped with the following:

  • A unique bus stop identification number
  • Respective color-coded route icon
  • DC Circulator website address
  • New customer service phone number
     

    If riders need to contact the DC Circulator, call the new customer service number (202-671-2020) and provide the bus stop ID number.
