DC Circulator Extends Hours, Offers Free Rides for Nationals' Victory in Postseason Games, October 6-7

(Washington, DC) – On Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will extend the service hours for the DC Circulator on the Union Station-Navy Yard route for the Washington Nationals postseason home games.

Should the Nationals defeat the Chicago Cubs during this weekend’s home games, the DC Circulator will celebrate by offering free rides on the Union Station-Navy Yard route beginning directly after the game through close of service.

Regardless of the games' outcomes, the following extended service hours will be provided on the following days:

Friday, October 6:

  • Service begins at 6 am
  • Service ends at Midnight

Saturday, October 7:

  • Service begins at 4 pm
  • Service ends at midnight

The DC Circulator is an alternative to taking the Metrorail Green Line to and from the ballpark and connects with Metrorail’s Red Line, MARC, Amtrak, and Intercity Buses at Union Station and Metrorail’s Orange, Blue and Silver lines at Eastern Market station.
