Bowser Administration Announces Progress on PaveDC
(Washington, DC) — On Monday, August 6, the Bowser Administration will announce the District's progress on PaveDC, an initiative to eliminate all roadways, alleys, and sidewalks in poor condition by 2024.
Since PaveDC was launched in April, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) has repaired surfaces in all eight wards, to include pavement resurfacing and new pavement markings that increase roadway safety, for motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians.
