Public Engagement for the 16th Street NW Transit Priority Planning Study

Public engagement activities

  • DDOT hosted four public engagement events along the 16th Street NW corridor in October. The public had an opportunity to view the plans, and provide feedback on the three draft alternatives at these events. The locations and dates follow:
    • Wednesday, October 7, 2015, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm: 16th Street & Spring Place NW 
    • Wednesday, October 14, 2015, 4 pm – 6 pm:16th Street & L Street NW
    • Thursday, October 15, 2015, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm: 16th Street & U Street NW
    • Saturday, October 17, 2015, 12 pm – 2 pm: 16th Street & Irving Street NW
  • The draft alternatives are available for download. Please submit your feedback by October 21 via the form here or by emailing [email protected].

Past Meetings

  • The fourth Citizens Advisory Group meeting occurred from 6:30 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Metropolitan Police Department's Third District Station, 1620 V Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009. 
  • The third Citizens Advisory Group meeting occurred from 6:30 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at the ballroom of the Chastleton, 1701 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009. The Citizens Advisory Group meetings are open to the public and all are welcome.
     
  • The second Citizens Advisory Group meeting took place from 6:30 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at Foundry United Methodist Church, 1500 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036. The Citizens Advisory Group meetings are open to the public and all are welcome. 
  • The first Citizens Advisory Group meeting occurred from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, May 28 at the Mt. Pleasant Library, 3160 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20010. Community Advisory Group meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
  • The public kickoff meeting occurred from 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, March 31 at the Mt. Pleasant Library, 3160 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20010.
