
Dr. Falah is currently serving as DDOT’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, he is responsible for planning, developing, and managing information technology related services agency-wide for DDOT and for ensuring that those services are aligned with the strategies, plans, and operations of the agency.
Prior to joining DDOT, Dr. Falah was the Division Chief for the Customer Services and Business Group/Portfolio Management Office at the Government of Prince William County, VA. He brings with him more than 25 years of experience in leadership, management and operations, including more than 13 years of service in the District Government.
Dr. Falah served in various leadership roles in non-profits and travels nationwide to deliver best practices in leadership and project management seminars to empower local communities.
Dr. Falah is a Federally certified Chief Information Officer, a Federally certified Enterprise Architect, and PMP certified.
Dr. Falah earned his Ph.D. in leadership and Management from Campbellsville University. He also holds a master’s in Management of Information Systems from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University.
Dr. Falah enjoys fishing, hiking, and has a hidden talent of calligraphy.
