WASHINGTON, DC - On Wednesday, April 24, 2013 and Thursday, April 25, 2013, weather permitting, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be restricting lanes along the Rock Creek Parkway to accommodate inspection activities for the Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Bridge over the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway.
Inspection work will take place over a two-day period. The lane restrictions are scheduled to start at 9:45 am and continue through 2:45 pm on each work day.
During this time, the Rock Creek Park Multi-Use Trail will remain open to the public.
Wednesday April 24, 2013:
- The right northbound lane on the Rock Creek Parkway will be closed between 9:45 am and 12:30 pm. The left lane will be kept open in the northbound direction and both southbound lanes will be open.
- Between 1:15 pm and 2:45 pm, the right southbound lane on the Rock Creek Parkway will be closed. The left lane will be kept open in the southbound direction and both northbound lanes will be open.
Thursday April 25, 2013:
- The left northbound lane and the left southbound lane on the Rock Creek Parkway will be closed between 9:45 am and 2:45 pm. The right southbound lane and the right northbound lane on the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway will be kept open.
Temporary signs and traffic control measures will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public through the work zone.
