DDOT will be implementing temporary off-peak rolling closures on I-395 in the 3rd Street Tunnel to perform routine maintenance

Washington DC - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be implementing temporary off-peak rolling closures on I-395 in the 3rd Street Tunnel to perform routine maintenance.

These temporary closures are scheduled to take effect as follows:

Tuesday, December 3, 2013 – 9:30 am to 3:30 pm

•Southbound right lane between D Street and 2nd Street, NW
•Southbound right lane between New York Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue, NW

Wednesday, December 4, 2013 – 9:30 am to 3:30 pm

•Northbound right lane between D Street and 2nd Street, NW
•Northbound right lane between New York Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue, NW

Thursday, December 5, 2013 – 8 pm to 4 am

•Entrance and exit ramps between D Street, NW and 2nd Street, NW

Temporary signs will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public in this area. DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert as they travel in this corridor. All construction-related work and dates are subject to change, depending on weather, material and contractor availability or other unforeseen conditions.
