Road Closures for the International Monetary Fund/World Bank Complex

Street closures will begin Friday, April 19, 2013, from approximately 6:30 am, through Sunday, April 21, 2013, until approximately 7:00 pm.

WASHINGTON, DC - The Metropolitan Police Department and the District Department of Transportation would like to inform the public about the street closures that will take place surrounding the IMF/World Bank.

Street closures will begin Friday, April 19, 2013, from approximately 6:30 am, through Sunday, April 21, 2013, until approximately 7:00 pm, the streets surrounding the IMF/World Bank will be closed as stipulated below:

  • 19th Street, NW – from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
  • H Street (southern side) – from 18th Street to 20th Street, NW

The following streets will remain open with temporary closures beginning Friday, April 19, 2013, at approximately 8:00 pm, through Sunday, April 21, 2013, at approximately 7:00 pm.

  • 18th Street, NW – from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
  • 20th Street, NW – from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
  • G Street – from 18th Street to 20th Street, NW
  • H Street (southern side) – from 18th Street to 20th Street, NW

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution when traveling in these areas.

Note: The surrounding areas and streets leading to this complex may be closed or affected as well.
