Off-Peak Single-Lane Closure on Northbound I-395 in the Air Rights Tunnel on Monday, June 2, 2014

Washington, DC - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will implement a temporary left-lane closure on northbound I-395, in the Air Rights Tunnel north of the of the exit to 2nd Street NW, on Monday, June 2, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The closure is needed to conduct an inspection of the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge.


Temporary signage and traffic control measures will be in place to alert and guide motorists through the work zone.


In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, this work will be rescheduled and an updated advisory will be distributed.


Motorists are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes if possible. DDOT urges travelers to stay alert and use caution when traveling through the work zone and observe all signs, lane closures and directions by flaggers.
