Washington, DC - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is providing notice for public comment on the draft project list for the update to the agency's portion of the FY 2013-2018 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The draft project list will add modifications or amendments to the region’s approved TIP of Record (FY 2013-2018 TIP) to reflect projects in FY 2014-2018.
The TIP is a 6-year financial program that describes the schedule for obligating federal funds to state and local projects. The TIP contains funding information for all modes of transportation, including highways and HOV lanes, as well as transit capital and operating costs.
The public is welcome and encouraged to review and comment, in writing, on projects in the District for FY 2014-2018. The draft project list for the update to the DDOT portion of the FY 2013-2018 TIP can be viewed online. To provide comments on the proposed project list, please visit the website for public comments.
