Washington, DC - As part of the 11th Street Bridge Project, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will reduce northbound I-395 to one-lane near Maine Avenue SW from 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 5 to 5 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014.
The northbound I-395 exit ramp to the 12th Street Expressway and the Buckeye Drive SW entrance ramp to northbound I-395 will also be closed from 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 5 to 5 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014.
The closures are needed to allow crews to install overhead sign panels over I-395.
• Buckeye Drive SW traffic will be detoured to Ohio Drive SW, then to Maine Avenue SW to access northbound I-395.
• Motorists seeking access to the 12th Street Expressway will follow the posted detour route on northbound I-395, to Maine Avenue SW, then to 7th Street SW and Frontage Road SW to access the 12th Street Expressway.
In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, this work will be rescheduled and an updated advisory will be distributed.
