Washington, DC - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be conducting a series of bridge and tunnel safety inspections throughout the District’s highway network on Tuesday, June 24; Wednesday, June 25 and Friday, June 27, 2014. These activities will require single-lane closures and take place during off-peak hours between 10 am. and 3 pm, weather permitting.
The required lane closures and inspection activities are scheduled to occur as follows:
Anacostia Freeway (I-295) over Firth Sterling Avenue and CSX Railroad

There will be a right-lane closure of a northbound Anacostia Freeway over Firth Sterling Avenue SE and CSX Railroad.
Wednesday, June 25, 2014
There will be a right-lane closure of a southbound Anacostia Freeway over Firth Sterling Avenue SE and CSX Railroad.
Q Street NW over Rock Creek Parkway
Friday, June 27, 2014
There will be a lane closure of westbound Q Street NW over Rock Creek Parkway.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn motorists as they approach the areas.
Motorists are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
