DDOT Director to Visit Work Crew Early Wednesday in Appreciation for Working During High Temperatures

(Washington, DC) Michelle L. Pourciau, acting Director of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be visiting a work crew tomorrow to thank them for their hard work during the summer heat. In recent days, DDOT has made several heat-related adjustments for work crews — such as pulling workers from the heat earlier than usual to avoid high temperatures and providing increased water to crews to help stay hydrated. The crew at the Wednesday site visit will be installing traffic calming speed humps on site.
