After two years of study and public meetings, DDOT has published a draft New York Avenue Study. Many of the key recommendations have been previously presented and discussed, particularly at a public meeting in January 2004, including traffic safety and efficiency, minimizing impacts on nearby neighborhoods and integrating the needs of the many nearby businesses, government agencies and private institutions. A new section discusses potential land acquisitions, financing and environmental impacts. This meeting is open to discuss all of these topics.
