The Pennsylvania Avenue, SE Transportation Study was conducted by the District Department of Transportation to investigate the automobile movements along the avenue, to document the volume of automobiles traveling along the avenue and to make recommendations for improvements to the existing conditions. The boundaries of the study were from the foot of the Sousa Bridge to the Maryland line at Southern Avenue, SE.
