DDOT Celebrates Black History Month

Did you know the inventor of one of the first traffic signals was an African American named Garrett Morgan? Signal technology has advanced considerably since his creation was patented in 1923, but his work, and the work of other early pioneers, continues to inspire.

DDOT is celebrating Black History Month by featuring its distinguished African American staff members who over the years have made key significant contributions to much of DDOT’s success.
