(Washington, DC) – The District of Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be inspecting several of its bridges throughout the District beginning July 30, 2012 through August 4, 2012; weather permitting.

All work will be conducted after the am and pm rush hours. The dates, locations and lane closures associated with each location are listed below:

H Street Overpass over Washington Terminal Yard at Union Station
Monday July 30, 2012
The contractor will execute alternating right shoulder closures of the northbound and southbound 2nd Street N.E. under H Street followed by alternating right shoulder closures of the northbound and southbound First Street on July 30 during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM for the bridge inspection.

Southeast Freeway (I-395) over CSXT RR, N.J. Ave, and Virginia Ave.
Tuesday July 31, 2012
The contractor will execute a right lane closure of the eastbound Southeast Freeway (I-395) over CSXT RR, NJ Ave. and Virginia Ave. on July 31 during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM for the bridge inspection.

Wednesday August 1, 2012
The contractor will execute a right lane closure of the eastbound Southeast Freeway (I-395) over CSXT RR, NJ Ave. and Virginia Ave. on August 1 during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM for the bridge inspection.

Thursday August 2, 2012
The contractor will execute a right lane closure of the westbound Southeast Freeway (I-395) over CSXT RR, NJ Ave. and Virginia Ave. on August 2 during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM for the bridge inspection.

Friday August 3, 2012
The contractor will execute a right lane closure of the westbound Southeast Freeway (I-395) over CSXT RR, NJ Ave. and Virginia Ave. on August 3 during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM for the bridge inspection.

Saturday August 4, 2012
The contractor will execute a right lane closure of the westbound Southeast Freeway (I-395) over CSXT RR, NJ Ave. and Virginia Ave. followed by a right lane closure of the eastbound Southeast Freeway (I-395) over CSXT RR, NJ Ave. and Virginia Ave on August 4 during the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM for bridge inspection.
