(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is hosting a public meeting on Thursday, August 9 to present the preliminary design plans for the proposed reconfiguration of the intersection at 37th Street, NW and Tunlaw Road, NW.  

Representatives from DDOT will be on hand to discuss the roadway improvements that are being considered to enhance pedestrian and vehicular safety.

Community members are encouraged to attend to review the plans and provide input.

As part of the safety improvement initiative for Wisconsin Avenue in the Glover Park corridor DDOT is further evaluating feasible improvements to implement at adjacent intersections. Included in the improvements that are being reviewed are new roadway markings, signage and traffic signage upgrades. This information will also be presented at this meeting.
